The seagulls of Surfer's Paradise are brash creatures. They sit on sidewalk posts like owners of the land, surveying with raised beaks the ground-dwellers which we are. One squawk, two squawk. Stop. Sense the defiance in its tone, and I dare you to withstand from bowing. It is a matter of dominance, this thing called nature.
