It's a Grey One Today
Cold, wet, grey days like these make me want to do nothing. I sit by the window and listen to the cars drive by. Something about the spraying sound of the moving wheels against the bitumen remind me of the din of ocean waves. It calms me. A lot of people think that living on a busy road would mean living with endless disturbances, but, it's quite the contrary. There are so many sounds that it all becomes a blur. It's like that moment right before you fall asleep when your thoughts and imagination float in idle wandering, all monochrome and levelled. In these moments, there is slowness, a time for unperturbed being.
